eight.

Stove top popcorn. I can't believe how much of life I spent thinking popcorn just came from the microwave. The Husband taught me the stove top way about 7 years ago. I'll never go back.

I don't know how to make popcorn on the stove. I wish I did. Only because I hate using the microwave, and I hate the little envelopes that always seem to get scattered all around my pantry because the box gets ripped or something. Blah.

Cute bowl!

It's so easy! Using a large pot heat some oil (I'm not sure how much, enough to cover the pan and then a tad more)we also heat a dab of butter and some salt. When oil is nice and hot add some popcorn kernels and cover with a lid. In 2 minutes or so you'll have a giant batch of stove topped popcorn!

I pop popcorn in the microwave but I don't buy those packaged kind. I have a special microwave bowl that lets out the extra heat and the popcorn pops nice and fluffy without all the added fat from oil.

Stove-top popcorn! I'd forgotten about that. We used to make it that way when I was a kid. What kernals do you use?

I buy them either at the farmers market, or a local grocery store that gets them from a guy in the village.

I've used Americas Best too though
